Cumberland County deputies and medics responded to an area on the 2,000 block of Lantana Road yesterday for an accidental shooting. Officers say 30-year-old Cameron J. Cunningham told them he was given a .44 caliber handgun and in front of at least three witnesses, the firearm suddenly discharged a round striking him in the left leg. Cunningham was transported to the hospital for treatment.
