A resident on the 7000 block of Talahatchie Drive reported someone had forced open her front door between 11 p.m. on Saturday and 3:30 Sunday morning.

Nothing was reported stolen, but the resident said furniture had been moved around, a knife was found at the front door and a bottle of flavored water was left at the computer desk. Officers took possession of those items for fingerprinting. A possible suspect has been identified and an investigation is underway.
