ALCOA POLICE SAY SHOOTING INVOLVED MURDER-SUICIDE

A double-shooting in Alcoa has become an investigation into a murder-suicide. The husband and wife, 55-year-old Ladonald Hodge and 46-year-old Dawn Hodge, were found inside their home on West Fulton Ave around 7:30 Wednesday morning. Both had died as the result of gunshot wounds. Authorities say the bodies were found by their daughter. Although neighbors told police that they heard no shot, Alcoa Police Chief David Carswell said that it appeared the wife shot her husband and then turned the gun on herself.
