ALL SCHOOLS IN RHEA COUNTY NOW HAVE STUDENT RESOURCE OFFICERS

Rhea County Sheriff Mike Neal would like to let everyone know as of today (Friday, May 4, 2018), all seven county schools have a school resource officer working in them. The sheriff’s department worked closely with Rhea County Schools Director Jerry Levengood to ensure schools are a safe place to learn for the children as well as a safe place to work for the school staff. Below are the names of the SROs and their assignments:
Rhea County High School: Sgt. Ronnie Janow and Deputy Adam Cosby
Rhea Middle School: Deputy James Pearce
Frazier Elementary School: Deputy Tony Moore
Rhea Central Elementary School: Deputy Adam Hurst
Spring City Elementary School: Deputy Travis McGhee
Graysville Elementary School: Deputy Ted Byrd
Spring City Middle School: Corporal Aaron Loden
