According to a report by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, on April 12, 2026, at approximately 6:01 PM, a single-vehicle crash occurred on Potato Farm Road in Cumberland County, Tennessee, outside city limits. The driver, 40-year-old Mark Anthony Taylor of Crossville, was operating a 2010 Volvo T5 sedan eastbound on the two-lane rural road.

While negotiating a curve, the vehicle left the roadway on the left shoulder, traveled approximately 123 feet, struck a culvert and mailbox on Potato Farm Road, and then hit a standing tree. The crash resulted in disabling damage to the front end of the vehicle, which was towed from the scene by Mackie’s Towing.
