An altercation at a residence on Timothy Drive in Cumberland County yesterday resulted in an injury. Witnesses told law enforcement 28-year-old David Luis Noguera of Crossville apparently forced his way into the dwelling he was renting out after being informed individuals inside may be attempting to take items. Once in, he allegedly attempted to strike a male with a shovel. The subject acted in self-defense and hit the aggressor with part of an axe resulting in Noguera bleeding from the impact. Noguera was arrested for felony aggravated assault.
