PEDESTRIAN INJURED AFTER SLIGHTLY HIT BY VEHICLE IN CRAB ORCHARD

First responders went to a convenience store at the corner of Market and Main Street in Crab Orchard Friday after a female was slightly hit by her own car. The incident started with a 2002 Buick driven by 56-year-old Matthew Struve of Ramsey, Minnesota backing out of a parking spot and striking another vehicle with 67-year-old Marilyn Elmi of Blossom, Tennessee standing behind it. Elmi did not see the Buick because her back hatch was up. Elmi was evaluated by medics on scene for minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
