AMATEUR RADIO FIELD DAY PROCLAIMED BY CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL
During last night’s Crossville City Council meeting, Mayor James Mayberry proclaimed June 23 and 24 as Amateur Radio Field Day. The City of Crossville recognizes the services amateur radio operators provide to the many emergency response organizations and appreciates the diligence of these radio operators who also serve as weather spotters. They also provide free radio communications for parades and charitable public events in Crossville and Cumberland County.
