A Clinton man died in a residential fire at a mobile home in the Cedar Grove Mobile Home Park Tuesday morning. Volunteer Fire Crews from Claxton, Marlow, Andersonville, and Clinton responded to the call at 7:30 AM. Anderson County Deputies said that after the fire was extinguished, the body of 25-year-old David Earl Floyd was found in the rubble. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department, the TBI and investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
