The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle accident Wednesday at the 333-mile marker of I-40 in eastern Cumberland County.

The report released today states a 2008 Honda Accord driven by 18-year-old Xavier N. Bradley was traveling east when he lost control in a curve and ran off the roadway. The automobile entered a ditch and came to a rest.

Bradley escaped injury in the crash. He was issued a citation for failure to exercise due care.

The 333-mile marker of I-40 in Cumberland County east of Crab Orchard has been the scene of numerous accidents.
