Crossville police responded Monday to Executive Inn on Highway 127 just north of I-40 after an employee noticed several people in and out of a second floor room. A check of the suspect inside, 46-year-old Jeffrey Marlyn Hays of Crossville, revealed he was on probation for a narcotic charge and wanted in Knox County on a warrant. A small bag of meth was reportedly found. Hays was arrested for felony possession of a drug. According to law enforcement, Executive Inn has been the site of numerous drug arrests in the past.
