Another altercation was reported at the Roane Academy this week. Officials says a male staff member was injured trying to restrain a teen at the facility. The staff member was transported to Roane Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The Roane Academy is where some juveniles are housed for the state. The academy has endured several incidents of physical altercations and escapes in the past two years. The academy was recently purchased by Youth Opportunity Investments.
