ATV STOLEN FROM RHEA COUNTY FOUND IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
On January 11, 2026, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Winningham recovered a stolen 2002 green Honda Foreman ATV at a residence on Lige Road in Crossville, TN. The ATV had been stolen from its owner in Rhea County between January 6–11.
The deputy located the matching vehicle at the address, confirmed its identity using photos and distinctive markings provided by the owner, and had it loaded onto a trailer for return.
A resident at the location stated that another individual delivered and sold him the ATV for $1,500 in the early morning of January 8, 2026. The buyer questioned whether it was stolen and was told it was not; he then required and received a signed bill of sale before completing the purchase. The deputy collected the bill of sale and a written statement from the resident.
The ATV was recovered at approximately 9:30 a.m. that day as stolen property originating from another agency (Rhea County). No NCIC entry had been made due to missing serial number information from Rhea County.
The case was approved that afternoon with no arrests as of now.
