Knoxville Police and Knox County Deputies continue to investigate the scene of a shooting which took place late Monday night at Turkey Creek. Units were dispatched to the scene which took place in the area of Pier One Imports and PetSmart. According to reports, those stores were closed at the time the incident happened but other nearby stores were open. At first, it was said that officers were involved, but no officers were injured. One person has been transported to the hospital. Part of the crime scene is cordoned off with tape and shoppers are advised to avoid it. 1057 News will have more information on the story as it is released.
