BB’s Deli in Crossville has to be one of the diamonds of the restaurant industry in Cumberland County. The restaurant was recently purchased by U.S. Navy veteran Kellie Evans. The 29-year-old Evans had a vision for BB’s Deli and has put it into place with a variety of fantastic food offered to patrons. “This has been my dream since I was a child to own my own business,” said Evans who was born and raised in Cumberland County. “Our staff is eager to keep the same traditions at BB’s Deli. “We offer the best ingredients and the freshest food possible to customers. It is a quick and casual dining atmosphere at BB’s,” said Evans. She has continued the business with contributing a portion of the profits from the restaurant to charitable and non-profit organizations in the 105.7 The Hog listening area.

The selection from the menu provides a great variety for patrons.

Sandwiches are made daily and customers have the option of having specialty sandwiches or they can literally order one exactly how they desire with the build your own menu option. That consists of bread selections of rye, marbled rye, wheat, sourdough, pumpernickel rye, hoagie bun, sourdough hoagie bun, croissant or regular bun. For meat, patrons can choose from turkey, ham, bologna, roast beef, corned beef, pepperoni, salami, pastrami, bacon or porketta. Boar’s Head meat and cheeses are used at the restaurant on sandwiches. BB’s Deli offers american, swiss, provalone, pepperjack, horseradish cheddar, cheddar, mozzarella or smoked gouda for cheese on the sandwiches. And for toppings, customers can choose from mayo, ketchup, mustard, spicy mustard, horseradish mayo, italian, 1000 Island, vinegar and oil, ranch, honey mustard, steak sauce, BBQ sauce or sweet and sour sauce.

For specialty sandwiches, BB’s Deli offers reuben, rachel (turkey, swiss, coleslaw and spicy mustard), cuban, grilled cheese, porketta, ultimate club (ham, turkey, roast beef, bacon, american cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo), philly cheese steak, fried bologna, italian meatball, ultimate BLT, italian, jillian (grilled cheese, spinach dip, grilled onions and bacon), homemade chicken salad sandwich, homemade tuna sandwich, big lick BBQ and 8 oz fresh patty burger.

The sides to select with a sandwich will leave a customer craving for more. French fries, sweet potato fries, homemade fried chips, coleslaw, potato salad, spinach dip with chips, onion rings, fried pickles, fried banana peppers, fried mushrooms and chips are offered.

If you’re in the mood for a salad, BB’s Deli offers garden salads, chef salads, a cran walnut salad and either a grilled or fried chicken salad.

On those cold days this winter where soup is desired, BB’s Deli has vegetable beef, chili, potato soup and spinach dip, all of which can be served in a bread bowl.

BB’s Deli also offers their famous BB’s Bandito consisting of Fritos, chili, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese and sour cream.

The desserts at BB’s Deli are homemade and will have you purchasing more just to take home to eat for another day!

The restaurant stays close to Evans’ military service. A military tribute wall for those who served or currently serving in the military is in the works for inside BB’s Deli. Also there is plenty of parking with two entrances to the restaurant. Customers can park along Main Street and enter in the front or park behind the restaurant and enter through the back by way of the patio.
