A four-vehicle traffic accident along North Main Street Friday Night has resulted in the arrest of at least one person.  43-year-old David Belvin of Crossville was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, Violating the Financial Responsibility Law and Vehicular Assault.  Belvin’s bond was set at $2,500 on the DUI charge, $1,500 on the Financial Responsibility violation and $50,000 on the Vehicular Assault charge for a total bond of $54,000.  Belvin was released from Cumberland County Jail this morning.

Witnesses say Belvin was traveling along Main Street at a high rate of speed when the accident occurred.  The accident resulted in one man being sent by helicopter to an area trauma center, a pregnant woman and one other person to CMC.
