BERRIER SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR HIGH-SPEED CHASE ON LANTANA ROAD

Cumberland County court officials say 43-year-old Adam Rhea Berrier entered a plea of guilty in court to aggravated assault and DUI.

The charges stem from a high-speed pursuit with law enforcement on Lantana Road this past March. The chase ended when Berrier was boxed in next to a utility pole by law enforcement cruisers at the intersection of Lantana Road and Miller Bypass.

Berrier received a three-year prison sentence to serve at 100%.

Berrier received credit for 29 days already served in jail after his arrest.
