Funeral services for Billie “Bill” Ples Poore, age 79, of Burkesville, Kentucky, will be held Thursday, December 6, at 1 p.m from the Brown Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Williams Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, December 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel. He is survived by his wife, Gladys (Southworth) Poore; two daughters, Terry Proctor of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Cathy and Michael Faunce of Albany, Indiana; two brothers, Doyle and Janet Poore of Byrdstown, Tennessee, and Delmer Poore of Pall Mall, Tennessee. He is also survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces nephews, other family members and friends.
