BIZARRE GAS STATION COLLISION IN ROCKWOOD
A bizarre situation unfolded at the Rockwood Murphy gas station Monday night near the Walmart parking lot. A man was cleaning his windshield at a pickup truck when another vehicle approached and struck his truck near the pumps.
Authorities are still awaiting the final report, but it is understood that the driver of the other vehicle, who has a prosthetic leg, apparently slipped off the brake, causing the collision.
No injuries were reported, though an ambulance was dispatched to check on one of the individuals. Rockwood Fire Department first responders and police were on the scene for the incident, which occurred around 8:30 p.m.
