A statement from the Bledsoe County Official Rescue Squad’s official Facebook page confirms their teams are getting ready to head into East Tennessee to deliver aid to victims of Hurricane Helene and those affected by the recent floods.

“Our squad is gathering up equipment and supplies for East Tennessee. We are preparing to go and take supplies to the victims as well as relieve some of the personnel already there working that may need to head back home and get back to their daily jobs or may just need rest.
We are accepting donations if anyone would like to donate to take with us and deliver them to the local drop offs in the area. Currently, we know they need water, canned items, clothing, footwear, socks, baby formula, and diapers.
