A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 86-year-old James P. Ault of Pikeville, Tennessee and a 2016 Chevy Malibu operated by 22-year-old Brandon W. George of North Carolina were both traveling east on I-40 at the 360 mile marker in Roane County yesterday. Troopers say they approached heavy traffic and George braked suddenly resulting in Ault rear ending him. Both vehicles came to uncontrolled rests blocking the left lane of travel. The only injury reported was to a passenger in the Silverado, 82-year-old Paula L. Ault of Pikeville.
