BOBBY FLANIGAN ARRESTED AFTER THROWING XBOX SERIES X AND MAKING HOSTILE REMARKS AT OFFICERS
A local man faces vandalism charges following a domestic disturbance on Burnett Street where a gaming console and a modem were destroyed.
On September 5, 2026, Crossville Police Department officers responded to a reported domestic violence incident at Burnett Street. Upon arrival, Officer Ramson and Sergeant Henson contacted the involved parties, identifying one as Bobby Flanigan.
According to police reports, the complainant stated that Flanigan picked up a white Xbox Series X console and hurled it down a hallway, causing it to crash into a door. The impact resulted in a cracked casing and a protruding bottom cover on the $700 console. An additional modem was also destroyed during the altercation.
While officers conducted the investigation, Flanigan allegedly exhibited aggressive and confrontational behavior, repeatedly taunting law enforcement and directing hostile remarks toward officers and their families.
Flanigan was taken into custody and transported to the intake facility for processing, facing charges of vandalism.
In a possibly unrelated incident, Flanigan was also arrested for Criminal trespass. Has has a bond of $8,000 for the vandalism charge, and $3,000 for the Criminal Trespass charge.
