Voting was disrupted in one district in Morgan County today because of a bomb threat. Officials shut down the Coalfield voting precinct at the senior citizens’ building as a precaution. A decision was made shortly after to move voting for District One to Coalfield School while the senior citizens’ building was searched. The action was supposedly based on a note found with the bomb threat written on it. The incident is under investigation and those responsible could face federal charges.
