BOMB THREAT MADE AT FICOSA MANUFACTURING PLANT
The Ficosa Plant in Cookeville was the scene of a bomb threat Wednesday morning. The incident began around 8 AM when an employee allegedly found a threatening notice written on a bathroom wall inside of the automotive mirror plant. Workers were evacuated from the facility and an investigation of the building began by Cookeville Police, along with Putnam County’s bomb-sniffing K-9. Authorities spent around two hours searching and found no evidence of an explosive device being planted. Ficosa opened last year in Cookeville after moving from Crossville.
