BOND ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Yesterday just after 8 p.m., a Cumberland County deputy observed a vehicle leave Lawson Baptist Church on Plateau Road and take off down Wilson Road.
The vehicle abruptly turned into the first driveway. It hit a van parked in the driveway and was stuck.
The deputy made contact with the male driver. He told officers he did not have a license to drive on him.
The deputy observed a passenger in the back seat, 26-year-old Briana Shea Bond of Crossville, making movements under her shirt. She advised the officer she was on probation.
A K-9 officer alerted the deputy of the presence of drugs. During a search, several items of drug paraphernalia and three different illegal drugs were reportedly found around the passenger area.
Bond was arrested for the manufacture, sale, delivery, or possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of simple possession of drugs.
