HAYES CHARGED WITH INDECENT EXPOSURE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Cumberland County deputies received information around 7 p.m. yesterday from dispatch that a driver in a Suzuki SUV ran several red lights and was traveling into oncoming traffic. A witness told the dispatcher the vehicle pulled into an apartment building on Locust Grove Drive.
Deputies made contact with 31-year-old Wesley Jacob Hayes of Crossville. He was standing on the passenger side of the SUV in the parking lot.
The report states Hayes was not wearing any clothing.
When the officer asked Hayes why he was standing outside unclothed, he reportedly told the deputy “he landed there.”
When asked about running red lights, the arrest report states Hayes replied “that was ridiculous.”
Crossville police entered the residence to get some clothes for Hayes.
He was charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication.
