Boo on Main, originally scheduled for October, 28 has been canceled for 2024.

A post on the official Boo on Main Facebook event page reads: “Downtown Crossville and the Chamber will be canceling our Boo on Main due to the construction of the new wonderful sidewalks in downtown and other safety concerns, Boo on Main will be canceled for 2024. We will see everyone next year.”

Naturally, responses to the news have been less than enthusiastic with many insisting the event simply be moved to the Cumberland County Fairgrounds rather than be canceled outright. And others have mentioned events such as the car shows and Taste of Crossville, and how they were allowed to continue despite the construction.

Those seeking an alternative may want to consider the City of Harriman scheduled for October 29 in Downtown Harriman, or Rockwood’s Trunk or Treat scheduled for October 31 on Rockwood St.
