Crossville firefighters responded at 5:25 a.m. this morning to a structure blaze at Bootleggers Bar on Highway 70 East.

Crews arrived to see heavy smoke coming from the business and fire from the roof.

Crossville Fire Chief Chris South told 3B Media News there was significant damage to the business.

As of 7 a.m. this morning, Highway 70 East at the scene is shut down in both directions and will remain closed until around mid-morning.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were initially reported.
