BOWLING CHARGED WITH TRYING TO SET HOME ON FIRE

A Tennessee woman has been arrested for allegedly attempting to set a mobile home on fire.

Court records say 39-year-old Sarah Gladys Bowling of Knoxville was arrested after attempting to burn down her trailer with her fiance’s daughter and granddaughter inside.

The report states Bowling admitted to setting a mattress on fire, while the other woman was in the shower. The victim noticed the burning mattress when she got out of the shower and escaped with her 3-year-old daughter.

Bowling is charged with one count of aggravated arson and two counts of attempted first-degree murder.
