A driver escaped injury in a recent vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2021 International box truck operated by 29-year-old William Yarlett was traveling east at the 334-mile marker.

Yarlett took evasive action to avoid striking another vehicle and crashed into a cable barrier.

The vehicle traveled across two lanes of traffic, went into a ditch, and rolled over on its passenger side.

A passenger with Yarlett, 34-year-old Darius Collins, was not hurt.
