Crossville police went to the Economy Inn Saturday for a subject in a room who was past due on extending his stay. Officers say 33-year-old Nicholas A. Braswell of Crossville reportedly yelled he was not coming out and he was going to beat a woman’s head in. Backup arrived and officers kicked the door it contacting Braswell on the other side of it. Braswell allegedly struck one of them in the face. Authorities took him to the ground and placed him in custody for assault.
