Braxton Dwight Turner is set to appear in the Cumberland County General Sessions Court tomorrow, October 29, 2026, to face a mounting series of serious criminal charges filed following his arrest last week.
Turner, 19, faces a comprehensive docket of charges filed on October 26 by Deputy Jason Powers, including:

Schedule II Cocaine Possession (0.5 grams or greater)
-
Contraband in a Penal Facility

According to court affidavits, the charges stem from an incident on October 22, 2026, when deputies conducting a traffic stop on Hebertsburg Road encountered Turner showing signs of impairment while driving with a juvenile female passenger. A subsequent vehicle search yielded a loaded 9mm handgun. Further charges were added after corrections staff reportedly discovered a white powder substance field-testing positive for cocaine inside Turner’s wallet during the intake process at the facility.
