(UPDATED HEADLINE) – ONE FATALITY, TWO INJURIES REPORTED IN LANTANA ROAD VEHICLE ACCIDENT

BREAKING NEWS – A multi-vehicle accident at the corner of Lantana Road and Dunbar Road around noon today resulted in one being flown to U.T. Medical Center. An air medical helicopter landed near the scene at Lantana Road Baptist Church to transport one in critical condition from the t-bone crash. The crash involved a white 2013 Ford F-250 pickup and a maroon 2007 PT Cruiser, both with Cumberland County registration. Brandon Norris in the PT Cruiser was flown to U.T. Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. Another person in that car, Brenda Norris, passed away after efforts to stabilize her were unsuccessful. The driver of the truck was not initially identified.

Another accident this morning on Glade Creek Road resulted in one flown out by an air medical helicopter.
