Authorities with the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Department say female state inmates who were picking up trash along Highway 111 discovered a badly-decomposing body this afternoon. Officers say the body is decomposed beyond any recognition. The area has been cordoned off and agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are in route to the scene. More information will be released by authorities at a later time as this is a breaking news story.
