BREAKING NEWS (1:15 p.m. central, Tuesday, July 6, 2021) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) and law enforcement in Cumberland County are presently in the area of StonePeak Ceramics. A driver engaged in a pursuit on I-40 entered Cumberland County after the chase was terminated. The driver later pulled over just west of the 317 mile marker and fled on foot towards StonePeak as a THP helicopter was tracking the suspect. The motorist was taken into custody a short time later.
