BREAKING NEWS – A vehicle accident early this afternoon in Crossville reportedly resulted in a fatality. The accident took place around 2 p.m. central time on Peavine Road near Old Peavine Road close to Leisure Kraft Pontoon. Details of the accident will be released by the Crossville Police Department, who was the lead investigation agency regarding the crash. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, troopers assisted Crossville police at the scene. Traffic was re-routed onto Old Peavine Road for nearly four hours as officers investigated the crash and the scene was eventually cleared.
