Another clown threat has alerted Crossville and Cumberland County Authorities to take action this morning. Director of Schools Janet Graham says that school officials received what is being described as a “clown threat” similar to those that have been received in other school districts in Tennessee. An aggressive investigation has been launched and at this time, Cumberland County High School has been placed on soft lock-down. Additional security will be at CCHS with additional patrols in all schools today. Principals will be arriving early to take charge of the situation at each prospective school and the investigation will continue. Both the Crossville Police and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Dept. take such threats seriously and each will be investigated accordingly.
