Cumberland County deputies and Tennessee State Troopers are on the scene of a shooting this evening on the 8600 block of Cherokee Trail in Lake Tansi. Initial reports are that at least one person died as a result of the shooting.

1057 News spoke with Sheriff Casey Cox shortly after he arrived at the scene. He was unable to provide any information other than that an investigation is ongoing and is in its earliest stages.
