BREAKING NEWS – Cumberland County deputies and medics are on the scene of a shooting on Herbert Houston Road. This is in the Linary area of the county. Initial reports indicate one sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. A Lifeforce air medical helicopter will land soon at Linary Church of Christ to transport the victim to an area trauma center. Sheriff Casey Cox told 105.7 News the victim sustained an accidental self inflicted gunshot wound. No further information regarding the shooting was initially released.
