BREAKING NEWS – Cumberland County has received notification that the solar eclipse glasses distributed recently by the Art Circle Public Library were not approved by the vendor as being a recommended manufacturer. The notification from Amazon reads as follows: “Amazon has not received confirmation from the supplier of your order that they sourced the item from a recommended manufacturer. We recommend that you do not use this product to view the sun or the eclipse”. If you or someone you know obtained the solar eclipse glasses from the Art Circle Public Library in Crossville, you are not advised to use them to view the eclipse August 21, 2017.
