Crossville Police and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation are looking into a reported robbery which occurred at a local financial institution Saturday. Details of the incident have not been released but it is known that the robbery took place at the Upper Cumberland Federal Credit Union on Livingston Road before Noon. Chief of Police David Beaty told 1057 News that the suspect, an African-American female, was taken into custody by authorities in Nashville.
