BROTHERS ARE HEROES AFTER SAVING BABY SISTER FROM HO– USE FIRE
Two boys are heroes after saving their baby sister from a house fire in Crossville last week. The fire broke out at the residence on Harrison Ave. while the boy’s mother, Sarah Strong was at work. Her boyfriend, Brian Brockway was cutting the grass at the time the blaze broke out. The boys, 11-year-old Donnie Strong and 13-year-old Elyjah Brockway were watching TV along with their 18-month old sister, Abbey Strong-Brockway. At the time of the incident, the boys grabbed the infant and escaped the blaze. Investigations reveal that the fire began in a downstairs bedroom when a battery charger caused a short. The home was a total loss.
