BROWN PLEADS GUILTY TO ASSAULT OF KINGSTON POLICE OFFICER
A man who left a Kingston police officer injured in a traffic altercation nearly a year ago pleaded guilty in court this week to aggravated assault, evading arrest and reckless endangerment. Henry Nicholas Brown struck Sgt. Jerry Singleton with his vehicle after a traffic stop on Highway 58. Brown was later arrested at a home on Evans Road. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for November 1, 2018.
