BULLOCK FOUND GUILTY ON NUMEROUS CHILD SEX CRIME CHARGES

A Campbell County jury today found 54-year-old Marvin Bullock of Caryville, Tennessee, guilty of four counts of rape of a child, nine counts of incest, five counts of rape, three counts of sexual battery by an authority figure, one count of solicitation of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of aggravated sexual battery and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child. Campbell County Criminal Court Judge E. Shayne Sexton ordered Bullock into immediate custody of the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, to await sentencing September 24, 2018. This case was investigated and prosecuted by Lt. Detective John Long of the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office. The Knoxville Police Department, Jacksboro Police Department, Campbell County Children’s Center and the Department of Children Services were also an integral part of the investigation and trial. At trial, the state was represented by Assistant District Attorneys Meredith Slemp and Lindsey Cadle.
