DEVELOPING STORY – A Campbell County, Tennessee, man who called 911 to say he had shot his wife ended up being shot by deputies after a standoff on Chapman Crest Road this afternoon

The suspect was taken to U.T. Medical Center by Lifestar. His wife died at the scene. No officers were injured.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has responded to the scene.

The names of those involved were not initially released.
