Rockwood Police, Fire and EMS all responded to a single vehicle accident at the post office just after 12 Noon Tuesday. A car, driven by Elenor Cates of Rockwood, jumped the sidewalk in front of the building and struck a tree. Cates was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was treated at the scene. It was unknown at the time of the report whether she was taken to the hospital for further treatment. Authorities say that no charges will be filed at this time.
