Two first-degree murder suspects appeared in Cumberland County Criminal Court this past Friday in separate cases.

Rony Noe Ambrocio Cruz, age 33, is charged with the death of his wife, Sante Ceciliar Mendez. She was found deceased in a wooded area near Village Lane in August 2020. The judge set the next court date of August 6, 2021. Cruz remains in the Cumberland County jail as of this morning (Monday, May 17, 2021) under a $250,000 bond.

Robert David Morse, age 20, stands accused of the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Matthew Musser at a home on September 26, 2020. Musser passed away from multiple gunshot wounds. In court Friday, the next court date for Morse was set for July 16, 2021. Morse continues to be held in jail as of this morning (Monday, May 17, 2021) under a $1 million dollar bond.
