A trial was set in a Cumberland County courtroom for a suspect charged with sex crimes. Authorities say 42-year-old James Sherman Williams was indicted by a grand jury and was taken into custody for rape and incest back in August 2020. The judge last Friday scheduled a jury to hear the case starting September 14, 2021.
