CATALYTIC CONVERTERS CUT FROM CROSSVILLE CITY VEHICLE

More catalytic converters have been stolen, and this time, off of a city-owned vehicle.

A Crossville officer arrived at the Recreation Park office located on Industrial Blvd for the theft of two catalytic converters. When speaking with the victim, he stated he had driven the Ford F250 the day before and parked it. When starting it this particular morning, he noticed it sounded different and soon discovered the converters had been cut off.

The estimate for both of the catalytic converters is $1,500 apiece.

Unfortunately, there is no video footage of the theft.
