CENTRAL COMMUNICATIONS BOARD ACCEPTS RESIGNATION OF SHOAP

The Crossville-Cumberland County Central Communications Board met this morning to officially accept the letter of resignation for E-911 Director Rodney Shoap. County Mayor Allen Foster thanked Shoap for his service. Shoap told the board it is important to get someone that will stay long term for the benefit of the center. Eric Ritzman was then suggested to be the new director. Ritzman told the members that if his board was ok with it, as well as the city and county, it could be worked out. The central communications board will meet again in two weeks to consider Ritzman as either an interim or permanent director. Shoap will remain on for the next month or so to assist with the transition.
